The Anderson Sling provides skeletal support for horses unable to stand by themselves during rehabilitation from weakness, neurological impairment, and/or limb fractures. When Jenny and Paul Miller of Ashland discovered that no agency in the area had access to such a device, they made a generous donation to the Equamore Foundation to buy and make the sling available to Animal Control Offices, Fire Departments, Sheriff’s Departments, Veterinarian Offices, Large Animal Rescues, and the like.

Any agency which may need the Anderson Sling for rescue or rehabilitation is welcome to send representatives to a special training in its use to be conducted at Eden Farm on Friday, July 24^th, beginning at 10:00 AM. The session, conducted by Jerry Floyd of Care of Disabled Animals, Inc., Potter Valley, CA, will take from 4 to 6 hours. Registration is $25 per person, which will include lunch.
